Rummelsnuff is a German songwriter, entertainer and weightlifter. His music is known as Männermusik, Sporthymnen or Derbe Strommusik, Schunkelpogo, Shanties., Arbeiterlieder. Rummelsnuff was born in Großenhain near Dresden, Saxony, East Germany and grew up with a serious musical education. His father wrote and played jazz music in the early DDR/East Germany. Rummelsnuff was playing bassoon in the local Symphonic Orchestra around the age of 14, later on he started experiments with old electronic stuff, yet later first local punk band. From 1989 he was with the band "Freunde der italienischen Oper" Dresden. The next one called "Automatic Noir" from the Dresden area too. As a bouncer he himself grew to a big lump of meat. Rummelsnuff was personal trainer, acted in movies, did lots of different jobs and finally got back to music, first album in 2008 "Halt durch" at Einstürzende Neubauten fist label ZickZack What's So Funny About. In 2017 he wrote a book "Rummelsnuff- das Buch" - it tells about the eastgerman past and how he became Rummelsnuff.. First Album at Out Of LIne Label "Sender Karlshorst" in 2010. Since 2012 touring with companion Maat Asbach. Germany, Austria, Switzerland and any parts of Europe, U.S.A., Mexico.
