Amduscia - Death, Thou Shalt Die
Nach dem tragischen Tod des Klangzauberers Edgar Acevedo im März 2010 war lange nicht klar, ob das bereits zu großen Teilen eingespielte, vierte Amduscia-Album überhaupt jemals erscheinen würde. Sein Bruder Polo entschied, dass es kein besseres Vermächtnis für die Band geben könnte, stellte das Album im Alleingang fertig und ließ es dann in einem deutschen Studio mit dem nötigen produktionstechnischen Feinschliff versehen. „Death, Thou Shalt Die“ ist so ein an Intensität kaum zu überbietendes Album geworden. So kompakt, aggressiv, druckvoll und tanzbar haben Amduscia seit ihrem Debüt nicht mehr geklungen. Nun erhebt sich die Band wie ein Phoenix aus der Asche, mit einer Platte wie eine Kampfansage… eine Kampfansage an den Leibhaftigen selbst.

After the tragic untimely death of sound wizard Edgar Acevedo in March 2010, it was not clear whether the fourth studio album of Amduscia was ever to see the light of day. His brother Polo, the band’s shouter decided that there could not be a better legacy for the Mexican band, completed the album by himself and had it produced in a German studio. “Death, Thou Shalt Die” has become an album that is hard to top in terms of intensity. Amduscia have not sounded this compact, aggressive, striking and club-compatible since their debut. Now, the band rises like a phoenix from the flame, with a record that sounds like a challenge – a challenge to the grim reaper himself.

Blutengel - Nachtbringer
Mit „Nachtbringer“ versüßt uns die Charts-erprobte Berliner Dark-Pop-Band Blutengel die dunkle Jahreszeit. Die CD enthält acht neue Oden an die Nacht und das Anderssein, darunter den Hit-lastigen Titelsong. Auto-Auto - Dancing Through Dark Times
Erik Frankel, Elliott Berlin und Johan Hellqvist, besser bekannt als Auto-Auto, haben ihrer Kreativmaschine wieder freien Lauf gelassen. Ihr drittes Album, „Dancing Through Dark Times“, verbindet auf äußerst unterhaltsame Weise Synth-Pop-Ohrwürmer mit Club-Sounds, Electroclash, Disco, New Wave und Indie, wobei die Schweden äußerst groovy und selbstironisch im elektronischen Klangdschungel wildern und selbst vor artfremden Einsprengseln, wie z.B. Breakdance-Anleihen, nicht zurückschrecken. Das Ergebnis ist frisch, wild, manchmal schräg, aber immer äußerst eingängig und, man muss es einfach offen sagen: die coolste Scheiße, die man derzeit auf das kollektive Gehör der Gesellschaft loslassen könnte. Langweilig überlassen wir einfach mal den Anderen.
